My wife, kids & I broke down coming home from vacation so we needed a room. Econo happened to be the closest. We ask about a room to find out they wanted $149 for a double bed. When we went to our room it was nasty, cup rings on the counter, finger prints on the mirror & the bedding looked as though it hadn't been changed. Needless to say, we got a refund & headed down the road to the next place.
Room was disgusting! Burn marks everywhere, nasty stains on the floor. Bathroom was moldy. Saw cockroaches in the room and numerous other bugs. Only reason we stayed was because it was a race weekend and there was no where else to go! Only good things were the nice lady at the front desk and the food nearby. Definitely do not recommend.
Checked in to room 106 yesterday couldn't sleep well for some reason all off a sudden a mouse appears on top of the table on top of the pizza box with a gizzard in its hand I freak out the owner comes and switched us to 109. Needless to say a rude housekeeper band on the door at 917 am. After a restless night I tell her it's a little after 9 snappy she respond, it's something after 10 with a roll of the neck slams door and walks off into hiding. The other housekeeper is coming out of 106 as if she will just clean and rent again. It's disgusting. I just know the owner is not going to get an exterminator as he says. Never coming back here.
Nice staff. Rooms are suitable. A bit costly for the appearance. They really need to do something about their roach problem. Roaches were everywhere!!!! Crawling in the bed as we slept, the sink, the shower, the wall!!! Horrible!!!
Great spot. You can't beat it for the money. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, well located - you can get anything you need without getting back on the road - everything is right next door. The rugs were kind of old - which I know is a big expense, but it woudl be worth it for this little motel to change them out since everything else works out so nicely for them.
