I drive 45 minutes to bring my dogs to this office. They are fantastic. I have had dogs all my life and by far my favorite Vet office!
Best vet ever for me! Always spends time I need to help me with pets.
Rude Reception. Has Atmosphere of "price over pet". I believe things that are charged you, don't necessarily mean that's what you got. NEVER returned calls. After hour Emergency are handled IN COLUMBIA OR MYRTLE BEACH. PET WOULD BE DEAD BEFORE GETTING THERE. After boarding my first AND last time, my dog became so sick that it took visit from another vet and two weeks before dog was better ... I'll NEVER go back to Bishopville Animal Clinic nor Give this Place a Recommendation. Terrible Service from start to finish.
Used to be a good vet many years ago, but not so much now. Their kennel in particular is no good. My dog was all scratched up and acting weird and we tried to call multiple times to ask about it. We never got a call back. I would use a vet and kennel elsewhere.
I believe the office manager thinks she is a vet herself not just married to one, she needs to take some form of customer service 101 for that fact animals 101. The vet with the diploma may be great but never saw or heard from him. I do volunteer work and have met many vets. I transported an animal from AC for a rescue. The vet was notified that it was coming straight from a shelter. Anyone that knows anything about rescue knows that the animals are terrified until they start to decompress. I requested to go to the back to a room as cats were coming in, not knowing if he was cat aggressive. I sat in the back with all the noise and techs coming in and out. The tech was nice but proceed to try and give shots in the middle of their work floor which I could tell he was scared . I said maybe we should wait or you need to be really be quick but of course she was and did not. After a growl they muzzled him which he removed and bit/nipped her. I understand no stitches were needed and she was working the next day. As I checked on her while there and afterwards. So the office manager Carmen called and accused me of cussing at the girls which was a lie. They probably made up something from fear of their office manager Carmen. I am an older woman and do not need to lie about such things. She insisted that the that dog be picked up right away, like something was wrong with him. This bite happened because of uneducated staff and no protocol. She was down right nasty. I would never ever take my animal there and hope that rescue do not as well. Another vet saw him and he gave him a little while to unwind, he even got on the floor with him to lessen his stress. The dog did great! One girl up front with blonde hair seemed to be the only one that had a clue.
